Is it permissible to perform obligatory prayer (fardh) in the car?

Question: Is it permissible to perform obligatory prayer (fardh) in my car? I live in Germany and sometimes I am out in the marketplace and there is no time to pray when I arrive home, so I sit in my car and perform the prayer.
Answer: It is not permissible to perform prayer sitting while you are able to stand for it. You can in this case pray Zuhr and Asr or Maghrib and Ishaa together.
